Format picker
How the bot picks a format for a link, and the settings that change it.
Paste a supported link and the bot replies with every format it found: video resolutions, audio bitrates, or the original file, each with its size.
- A ⚡ next to a format means it's already in the shared cache — that one delivers instantly instead of downloading again.
- A ❗️ marks a format that won't play on iPhone (VP9/AV1 codecs); turn on Apple iPhone compatibility mode in Settings and the bot only offers H.264 formats.
- Resolutions above 1080p are capped by plan: free and Pro up to 1080p, Expert up to 1440p, Ultra up to 2160p (4K) — see Plans. Above 1080p, Telegram's built-in player can't show the video inline, so it arrives as a document instead.
- A format your plan's per-file cap doesn't cover shows a ⭐ and needs an upgrade to unlock — see Supported sites for the size rules.
Auto-download
By default every link shows the picker, even for a single small file — nothing downloads without a tap. Turn on Auto-download in Settings and a link with one obvious small format skips the picker and is sent immediately; anything bigger or with multiple formats still asks first.
Subtitles
If a video has captions, tap Subtitles to pick a language and format, delivered as a separate file alongside the video.
Audio language (YouTube auto-dub)
Some YouTube videos ship auto-dubbed audio tracks in other languages. Tap Audio language on the format list to pick one instead of the original track — a paid feature.
